The Richard Gangel Fine art Director award was established in 2005 to laurels art directors currently working in the field who have supported and advanced the art of illustration. Information technology is our honor and privilege to name IRENE GALLO equally the 2016 recipient of this prestigious award.
Irene Gallo is the Associate Publisher at Tor.com and the Artistic Director at Tor Books. She has art directed countless illustrators and her piece of work has received numerous awards, including this yr'southward Gold Medal winning image by Sam Weber for The Language of Knives.

Guild of Illustrators has collaborated with Scout Books on a pair of custom notebooks!
We worked with two of our Illustrator-S Members, who have work upward right at present in our New Visions show.
Ping Zhu, based in Brookyln, NY, has received many awards for her work, including ADC's Young Guns accolade. Her clients include the New Yorker, Nobrow, and American Express, among others. Her paintings were featured in an issue of Youth in Decline'southward popular Borderland series.
Sandra Jávera lives in New York and is originally from São Paulo, Brazil. Her meticulous and delicate drawings take been in many magazines, newspapers, and books. She also has an interest in ceramics.
